The Barn Concert Dover House 2013 - Arun Young Musicians

Each year and with the kind permision of Lady Clutton we are able to invite some of our most talented young people to perform in the beautiful and prestigious surroundings of Dover House, Arundel.

This year (2013) the concert will take place on Sunday 6th July at 3pm. Tickets are £14 (£12 concession) and can be purchased by calling Ann Findlay on 01903 732574 or by emailing markkendallartists@mac.com

This year we were once again enthralled by the performances of some extremely gifted musicians. Amongst others we were entertained by show songs such as Somewhere over the Rainbow (Arlen & Harburg) and I Dreamed a Dream (Boublil & Schonberg), delighted by Saint-Saen’s enchanting The Swan from The Carnival of the Animals and mesmerised by Massenet’s crowd-pleasing Meditation.

As usual the barn setting at Dover House provided the perfect backdrop to a truly wonderful concert, with performances of a consistently high standard, supported and encouraged by family, friends and local supporters.
